Business Operating Permit

It is required that every business operating within the jurisdiction of the Jomoro Municipal Assembly obtains a valid Business Operating Permit.

A Business Operating Permit is an official license that authorizes an individual or entity to lawfully carry out business activities within the Jomoro Municipality.

To ensure a smooth, efficient, and timely acquisition of Business Operating Permits and to promote a business friendly environment within the Municipality, the Jomoro Municipal Assembly has put in place the following measures to facilitate the process.

Checklist for processing a Business Operating Permit
  • Produce Registrar General Business Certificate/Certificate Of Incorporation
  • Name of Business
  • Name of Business Owner
  • Business Location (GPS location)/Address
  • Contact Detail
Temporary Permit
  • An applicant receives a Temporary permit that last for 90 days immediately after producing the above requirement.
  • During this period, the Assembly does its due diligence, background checks and processing in order to generate a Permanent permit for the Applicant.
